Daniel Kress is an expert in building science, building physics and civil engineering.
He started his career as a carpenter in Germany. After 10 years in the building game Daniel began to study civil engineering and worked as a researcher for the European Union in sustainable building. He finished his German and Canadian masters degree with the thesis: Passive House Design for Perth, Western Australia.
For his thesis, Daniel carried out over 600 simulations on a typical residential building, to come up with an economical and energy efficient building system for the WA climate. The results have added to the range of low-energy Finished Wall systems that ISMART Building Group manufactures.
